Sharjah British International Private School was judged good overall in this SPEA review. Achievement is strong in Islamic Education, Arabic, English, social studies and science, but only acceptable in mathematics. Leadership is good overall, though self-evaluation and monitoring of teaching's impact, especially in FS and Year 1, need strengthening. Strengths noted by the inspectors in 2026: students' understanding of the meaning of Islamic rulings, values and principles, and deep understanding of the legislative basis of Islamic rulings in Lower Secondary; reading comprehension skills in Arabic First Language across Primary, Lower and Upper Secondary Phases; students' speaking and listening skills across all phases in English, and older students' analytical skills and fluent, expressive reading; students' understanding of fractions in Primary Phase and application of mathematical logic in Upper Secondary Phase mathematics; students' laboratory skills from Year 2 onwards, understanding of photosynthesis in Lower Secondary, and understanding of density and flotation in Primary science; parents fully involved in the life and work of the school, with an inclusive and caring ethos and community partnerships enriching the curriculum.

The 2026 SPEA report recommended that the school: improve students' accurate recitation of the Holy Qur'an following Tajweed rules in older phases, and memorisation of the Qur'an and Hadeeth across the school; strengthen students' application of grammar and use of extended vocabulary in writing in Arabic, and grammar, punctuation and independent extended writing in English; develop children's conceptual understanding of number in FS and Year 1, and multiplication and division skills in Primary and Lower Secondary; improve students' enquiry and investigative skills in science across all phases, and their ability to communicate scientific ideas in FS/Year 1, Primary and Lower Secondary; sharpen self-evaluation and monitoring of teaching's impact on learning, particularly in FS and Year 1; increase resources for the Foundation Stage and mathematics curriculum.

Between the 2024 and 2026 inspections, 1 of the 6 indicators rated in both reports improved, 0 declined and 5 kept the same rating. Improvements include Science — Attainment from Acceptable to Good.
