The Spanish School of Abu Dhabi

The Spanish School of Abu Dhabi is a Spanish curriculum school located in Al Bateen, Abu Dhabi. Opened in September 2020, the school was established to strengthen educational ties between Spain and the UAE, offering families in the capital an alternative to mainstream international curricula.

The school welcomes both boys and girls in a coeducational setting, serving students from Kindergarten through Grade 12. The academic programme follows the Spanish national curriculum, which is recognized internationally for its structured approach to core subjects. Students engage in a balanced programme covering Spanish, English, Arabic, Mathematics, Sciences, Islamic Studies, Arts, and Physical Education, with a strong emphasis on language learning forming a central part of the educational experience.

The campus occupies a purpose-built facility in central Abu Dhabi with views toward the Emirates Palace and Corniche beach. The school houses 43 classrooms equipped with interactive boards and WiFi throughout, an auditorium, and sports facilities. The faculty comprises approximately 10 teachers, most of whom are native Spanish speakers employed directly from Spain and experienced in teaching the Spanish curriculum. The school has achieved Apple School status, reflecting its focus on technology integration.
