Progressive English School is a CISCE (ICSE/ISC) curriculum school located in Al Yarmouk, Sharjah. Established in 1981, the school provides education from KG to Grade 12 following the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations framework from New Delhi, serving over 2,000 students from more than 17 countries in the local community.
The school offers instruction based on CISCE standards, the only such school in Sharjah. Students follow a structured academic programme in Science and Commerce streams designed to meet the requirements of ICSE (Grade 10) and ISC (Grade 12) board examinations.

This SPEA review rated Progressive English School acceptable overall, unchanged from the previous review. Achievement is mostly acceptable, with early improvements in Islamic education in Primary and science in Secondary. Personal development is good, but the new principal has yet to set a clear vision, and innovation skills remain underdeveloped.
