Victoria International School Sharjah improved from good to very good overall. Achievement, teaching, safeguarding, and parent partnership are strong across most subjects and phases. Inspectors recommend improving science progress in Middle and High, boosting challenge for higher-attaining students, strengthening middle leaders' monitoring, and improving attendance and punctuality. Strengths noted by the inspectors in 2023: students achieve very well in most subjects across the school; students show very positive attitudes, behaviour, and appreciation and respect for UAE culture and traditions; students participate in community activities with positive effect on the school and wider community; high-quality teaching, particularly teachers' subject knowledge and understanding of how students learn; wide range of curricular options for older students and extra-curricular activities across the school; rigorous safeguarding procedures and very positive staff-student relationships.

The 2023 SPEA report recommended that the school: improve students' progress in science and attainment in Middle and High phases; improve punctuality and attendance across the school; strengthen teachers' planning and strategies to engage all students and better challenge higher-attaining students, particularly in Middle; improve middle leaders' monitoring of teaching and learning quality in Middle and High; improve consistency of innovation, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills development across phases; introduce further support for Gifted and Talented students across phases.
