GEMS World Academy is a British curriculum and International Baccalaureate school located in Najmat on Al Reem Island, Abu Dhabi. The school combines the National Curriculum for England with the IB framework to create an inquiry-based learning experience.

ADEK rated GEMS World Academy "Very good" in its 2022-2023 inspection, its fourth consecutive "Very good". The school has been inspected 6 times since 2012-2013.
GEMS World Academy Abu Dhabi remains very good overall, with outstanding governance, facilities, personal development and safeguarding, and outstanding curriculum design. Teaching and assessment are very good. Inspectors recommend more extended writing practice, greater challenge in mathematics and science, stronger support for students of determination, and improved consistency in teaching and monitoring.
