Bangladesh Islamia School RAK

Bangladesh Islamia School RAK is located on Rams Road in the Julfar area of Ras Al Khaimah. Established in 1991, the school holds the distinction of being the only Bangladeshi educational institution in the Northern Emirates. The school received official approval from the UAE Ministry of Education in 1992.

The school operates from a purpose-built campus constructed in 1996 on land donated by Sheikh Saqr Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the ruler of Ras Al Khaimah. The facility spans approximately 37,000 square feet, providing dedicated learning spaces for the student community. The school building was constructed through the collective efforts of expatriate Bangladeshis in RAK who contributed both labor and financial resources.

Bangladesh Islamia School was initially established through the Bangladesh Social and Cultural Centre (Bangladesh Association) in RAK. The institution serves the educational needs of the Bangladeshi expatriate community while operating under UAE regulatory requirements and Ministry of Education oversight.
